Cultural heritage and studio work is not a different physics. It is a different risk: the object may be unique, fragile, or unfinished. Bolton Works treats those captures with metrology habits — known scale, controlled alignment, clean topology — because a pretty mesh that is 2% large is an expensive mistake when you go to mill a replica.

Handling and site work

Many objects cannot come to the lab. We have scanned in studios and institutions as well as factories. Tell us material, finish, size, and whether color/texture is in scope (shape is our core; photogrammetry-style color is a separate discussion).
